Financial Coach
James moved into financial advice in 2001 after a 20 year career as a commodities trader, working out of London, Bordeaux and Sydney. He founded Total Clarity Group in 2009 as he wanted to ensure that his clients were treated with the care and respect they deserve. James finds his work highly rewarding as he enjoys seeing his clients achieve their goals, many of whom he has built long-term, and sometimes intergenerational relationships with. He firmly believes that in order to truly help someone, you must first discover what they really want out of life and what makes them tick. Then, once channeled in line with one’s beliefs, money can be very powerful. James has a talent for translating complex client needs into workable strategies and appreciates how important it is to understand what his clients value. He takes his clients’ lives very seriously, whilst not taking himself too seriously.

Nic joined Total Clarity Group in 2010 after working in a variety of roles within the financial services industry. Once an avid sportsman, Nic now enjoys helping his clients achieve their personal goals and watching from the sidelines. His skill is in being able to look beyond the numbers and understand his clients’ situation, needs and what really drives them. Nic believes that when someone reaches out to you professionally, they are placing a great deal of trust in you, and in return, you must do your utmost to provide them with the best possible outcomes and experience.

Rebekah joined Total Clarity Group in 2010 after working several winter seasons in Canadian and Australian ski resorts. Rebekah’s journey with TCG began in client service management and then progressed into residential lending advice which is an integral part of our advice offering. Having grown with the practice, Rebekah has a detailed understanding of the business, our methods, systems and procedures, and also the individual needs of our clients.

Rebecca joined our team as a Paraplanner following similar roles with both other AMP practices and AMP Financial Planning head office. She brings a history of experience in compliance, strategy formulation and advice preparation. Rebecca finds the most rewarding part of her role is seeing long term, wealth creation strategies emerge to fruition.

Nanda Kumar
Senior Paraplanner
Nanda began his career in India as a sales and marketing professional before migrating to Australia in 2001. It is then that his career in financial planning support services started. Nanda operated his own paraplanning business for many years through which he was the main support service for multiple financial planning practices in Sydney. Nanda has been providing outsourced paraplanning services to Total Clarity Group since its inception, and in 2018 he joined as a permanent member of the team. Nanda enjoys using his extensive technical knowledge and numerical talents to model complex financial scenarios and solve practical problems for our clients.
